DJ Meltdown Live (In The Studio - Chicago, IL) - April 4, 2010

Testing the NS7 on USTREAM again, made some tweaks per the techs at Numark & Serato.  Not sure if I can trust it yet for live gigs, although since the changes I haven’t had any drop outs or problems.  It seems like I’m only getting high CPU when playing a song that hasn’t been analyzed yet.  I also added 2 GB of ReadyBoost through Vista.

First time using the NS7 on USTREAM, Guy on the Couch joined me, going to be something we starting doing on a regular basis. Had some technical difficulties with the NS7 with songs freezing and audio dropping out. Check the upcoming events schedule for our next show.

DJ Meltdown Live (The Department - Joliet, IL) - September 12, 2009

Had a blast here last night.  Excellent venue.  Not sure if it was just the night or if they always have an old-school househead crowd, but they were going nuts for the new cuts like David Guetta, Kid Cudi (Crookers), Paul Van Dyk AND the old house as well.  I played Alice DeeJay, Fragma, Johnny Vicious, Lock N Load, DJ Encore and Alligator Project.

DJ Meltdown Live (Pilot Show) - August 21, 2009

This was a test, for what it’s worth.  I decided to post it to give everyone a little taste of what’s to come.  Obviously the polished show will have better audio quality, and and polished feel with some external production.  Just wanted to test my equipment tonight.  Also I had no monitors or external sound sources, this was all mixed on a little pair of Sony headphones that I usually use with my blackberry…I found out it’s a bit tough to mix without monitors.
